Every consignment is checked against the house register before it is catalogued. Payment is held by Auctioneer until the lot is delivered.

Catalogue note

Six bottles (6 x 75cl) in the original wooden case, capsules and labels pristine, all levels into neck.

1990 is the vintage against which the domaine's own staff measure the decade, and La Tâche — the monopole that DRC has held whole since 1933 — is the wine in the range that gives everything away at once instead of making you wait.

Purchased on release through the domaine's UK allocation and never moved from professional storage. Sold in bond, duty and VAT payable by the buyer if removed for consumption in the United Kingdom.

Provenance

Corney & Barrow allocation, 1992; single ownership; under bond, Wiltshire, since release.

Condition

Mint

As issued. No signs of handling or display wear.

Condition reports are the house’s opinion, offered in good faith. Lots are sold as viewed; the absence of a remark does not imply the absence of a fault.
