Catalogue note

Left-hand drive, finished in Signal Orange over black leatherette, with the 190bhp 2,341cc flat-six, mechanical fuel injection and the five-speed 915 gearbox. The last of the long-bonnet cars and, for most people who have driven both, the best of them.

Restored in 2016 with the original engine and gearbox retained and rebuilt, documented by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming colour, options and delivery date. Approximately 4,900 miles since completion.

Presented with its original tool roll, jack, owner's manual and service book, together with a full photographic record of the restoration and invoices in excess of €180,000.

Provenance

Delivered new in Stuttgart, March 1972; two German owners; UK-registered since 2017.

Condition

Excellent

Minor handling wear consistent with age; no material faults.

Condition reports are the house’s opinion, offered in good faith. Lots are sold as viewed; the absence of a remark does not imply the absence of a fault.
